An app that personally curates things for you to do, based on what you already like to do.

Beanstalk is a Life Experience Platform - It helps you find things to do, and share them with friends!

One of the most searched for questions on the internet is - "What is there to do? Beanstalk answers that.

WHAT CAN YOU DO ON BEANSTALK?

Find what life has to offer. Whether that’s mountain biking, trying the latest restaurant, hanging out with friends or family, traveling around the world, or even base jumping off of a mountain. Beanstalk has something for everyone. You are easily able to find your community of similar-minded people!

Create experiences and share them with others. Let other people know about an experience and invite them to try it! Do you know the best Mexican restaurant in town? Or how about the coolest hiking spot? Show it off! You are able to create a list and name it, and then fill it with all of the experiences that you want to try. (i.e. 'Must try food', or 'Places I want to Travel')

Explore all of the amazing experiences that life has to offer! Beanstalk has hundreds of thousands of experiences and lists already pre-populated from day one. You are able to explore something specific, or just explore at random and discover all of the cool and unique things that Beanstalk has to offer.

Experience life. Beanstalk is all about doing. After finding or creating an experience, go out and do it! You can post about your experiences and share them with others. Let people know that you just hiked that mountain! Let them know you just graduated! Let them know you just finished a whole pizza by yourself! Beanstalk believes that life is meant to be enjoyed and that you should experience it to the fullest.

MY CONTRIBUTIONS

Lead UI/UX Designer

I started with Beanstalk as the first designer. I took the initial drawings and turned them into the first actual mockups. I collaborated with the original team to design user flows, wireframes, mockups, and develop functionality.

As the company grew, I worked with a small team of designers, and together, we were able to create iterative mockups. These mockups were the basis for the current app design.

Technical Project Manager

As time went on, I was able to work with the developers to not only convey the design, functionality, and features - but was also able to manage their workflow and processes to ensure a smooth development process. We would follow modern agile practices and work in 2 week sprints.

Co-Founder

I have the immense pleasure of being considered one of the co-founders of this amazing company. I was able to join the company at an early stage and play an instrumental part in the ideation, creation, development, investment pitches, and marketing strategy.
